A Kosciuszko Heritage committee member has travelled to Solothurn, in Switzerland, following in the footsteps of Tadeusz Kosciuszko.
Krzysztof Lachowicz was part of a group that made its way to the Swiss city, which is known as the location of the Polish freedom fighter’s death.
“The participants of the road trip, which took place from October 14 to 18, 2016, completed the journey with a highly patriotic commitment,” said Krzysztof. “On the day of 15th, between the hours of nine and 10 pm – exactly 199 years after the death of the Immortal Leader – we gave tribute to him by keeping vigil before his last earthly locum.”
