Kosciuszko Heritage congratulates Alex Storozynski on the successful production of a new film about Thaddeus Kosciuszko.
The documentary film, titled Kosciuszko: A Man Ahead of His Time, is the first modern film with live-action elements about the famous Polish freedom fighter. It will premiere in two days’ time (on July 20) at the Auditorium Maximum of the University of Warsaw in Poland.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Alex Storozynski is the former president of the Kosciuszko Foundation in the United States and the author of the biography The Peasant Prince: Thaddeus Kosciuszko and the Age of Revolution, which has won the Fraunces Tavern Museum Book Award, the Oskar Halecki Prize and the Templar Military History Award.
The film was financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by Storozynski himself.
