From April 14 to 15, the Snowy Mountains region was invigorated with multicultural energy through the Over the Moonbah festival. Organised by Kosciuszko Heritage, the festival brought together a range of local and overseas artists in a series of exciting events that highlighted the colourful history and strong cultural friendships in the region.
The focal point of the festival was the Friendship Flights over Jindabyne and Mt Kosciuszko on Sunday. A number of lucky participants – of Australian, Aboriginal and Polish backgrounds – took part in the aerial adventure.
Other features of the weekend included the colourful performances of the various ethnic groups and individual artists, such as singers, pianists and a Polish didgeridoo maker.
