Kosciuszko Heritage is looking for cartoonists, painters and animators to assist in the production of a video about Tadeusz Kosciuszko.

For the last few months, Kosciuszko Heritage has been working on a DVD-documentary titled Kosciuszko in Tsarist Captivity. This was the most painful and least explored part of the life of Kosciuszko: a hero defeated by brute force, but morally victorious.

The film will also be released in English.

An important step in our video production is to create iconography. We are looking for graphic designers, painters and drawers who could depict scenes in the spirit of the times. Cartoon or comic illustrators are also welcome.

We prefer artists from Australia, because, due to the limitations grantee (the Blum Foundation), we cannot send royalties abroad. If sponsors are found, though, hiring artists outside Australia will not be a problem.

We are also searching for animators to produce a few scenes.

To apply, please contact: office@kosciuszkoheritage.com or phone (02) 9484 1740.

The deadline is May 29, 2015.
