The film Symbol of Freedom and Honour: Sir Paul Edmund de Strzelecki has officially been launched.

Directed and edited by Oskar Kantor (of Oski Pictures), the film premiered on October 28, at the Ashfield Polish Club in Sydney.

The 30-minute documentary film, which contains previously unpublished information about the Sir Paul Edmund Strzelecki monument in Jindabyne, is divided into three themed sections: political, historical and moral.

The film has been co-produced by Kosciuszko Heritage, with Felix Molski (a Kosciuszko Heritage committee member), being its Assistant Director.

The film launch was attended by Kosciuszko Heritage committee members, and featured a performance by the singer Asia Lunarzewska, who performed her song Edmund the Traveller.
